A series in progress exploring landscape, narrative and the notion of place. The Norfolk coast has long been associated with some of the key concepts at play within my current practice. Walcott is located on the edge of the North Norfolk coast and its proximity to the sea makes the village vulnerable to sea surges and rising sea levels between land and sea. Temporality, fragility, the process of coastal erosion, sea surges and rising sea levels impact directly on the coastal village of Walcott.
The Walcott Prints begin a mapping and recording process which explore the notion of place and the narratives which make it
