Towards the end of 2011 I began a series of drawings as a direct response to connect to my new home on the North Norfolk coast, with work commencing on the wood engravings in 2012. ‘Beyond the line’ makes reference to the North Norfolk coastal defence plan, in particular to the area around Happisburgh.
