Promenade – black & white edition

Towards the end of 2011  I began a series of drawings as a direct response to connect to my new home on the North Norfolk coast, with work commencing on the wood engravings in 2012.  ‘Promenade‘ black and white edition, was completed in 2016. We walk to connect: experiential narrative impresses upon us the topography of landscape – a sensual experience of sight, touch, smell and taste, a cognitive mapping reinforcing place attachment.
