Storm Over Happisburgh

Towards the end of 2011  I began a series of drawings as a direct response to connect to my new home on the North Norfolk coast, with work commencing on the wood engravings in 2012.  ‘Storm Over Happisburgh’ was completed in 2015. Storm and weather erode the fragile Norfolk coastal landscape. As Happisburgh slips into the sea what seems apparently solid, permanent and monumental will be no more than a trace
