Winter Sea is part of a series of relief prints investigating the fragility of flooded landscapes and the lost villages along the Norfolk coast — a low-lying, vulnerable region at sea level, marked by transience, loss, and the threat posed by the North Sea. This piece evokes not only memories of what once was but also reflects on the present moment and the inevitability of what the sea may yet claim.
