‘Hedgerow‘ is a woodcut created from multiple blocks, exploring places both remembered and lost. This work connects past, present, and future within landscapes threatened by rising sea levels. The image is based on a drawing of the hedgerow, made during a walk from our house on the Norfolk Coast towards the sea at Walcott.
This work is part of a series of woodcuts made using multiple colour blocks. Additional prints from the series are available to view here
