Passing By. You can watch tankers from the shore travelling the shipping routes in the North Sea off the Norfolk coast. On foggy days their shapes merge with the sea and the sky in to a soft blurry undefined-ness. On clearer days, more detail emerges and you begin to imagine stories of the crew and cargo. The vessels sometimes hug the coastline, navigating the waters and sandbanks, passing quietly by.
