Passing By – From the shore you can watch tankers travelling along the North Sea shipping routes off the Norfolk coast. On foggy days their shapes merge with the sea and the sky in to a soft, blurry, undefined haze. On clearer days, details emerge and you begin to imagine stories of the crew and cargo. Sometimes the vessels hug the coastline, navigating the water and sandbanks, passing quietly by.
