Shorebreak waves break directly on, or close to the shore. Their behaviour is unpredictable, especially at high tide, and they occur along coastlines worldwide. Even seemingly small waves can generate immense power, breaking with sudden and unforgiving intensity. The danger lies in the proximity of the break to the shore, and the sheer force these waves carry. Widely considered one of the most hazardous coastal conditions, shorebreak captures a striking contrast: drama and beauty combined.
